League 2 best sides at home and away.The Gills were the 18th best side at home in League 2 and also 18th in their away games. Cambridge were the best at home with 15 wins and 51 points from their 23 games. Harrogate managed just 15 points at home. The Gills were the 18th best side away from home and the same at home. Barnet were the 12th best side at home, winning 36 points but were the 2nd best with 40 points on the road. Crawley picked up the fewest away points with 15 points.

League 2 best sides in the first half of the season and the second.Bromley had secured 45 points at the half way point, 2 more than Newport (who finished 2 places above the drop zone) managed by the end of the season. The Gills were 11th with the same points and goal difference as Barnet but had scored 1 more goal.
After being 15th after the first 23 games, Grimsby were League 2's best side in the second half of the season after securing a further 47 points to finish 7th at the end. Bristol Rovers were 22nd after the first 23 with 18 points but 4th in the second half of the season with 44 points.

League 2 tables if only first halves and second halves of matches counted.If League 2 games ended at half time, MK Dons would have won the division by a mile! They were leading at the break 28 times and would have secured 96 points. The Gills won 53 points at full time but, at the half-way mark of league games, were ahead in 9 games and with 49 points.
Bromley won the L2 title thanks to their 2nd half performance. If only the minutes after half time counted, Bromley would have won 22 games securing 82 points. The Gills would have picked up 61 points. Oldham's 80 compares to their 58 (13th position) for first 45 minute results.

Most goals scored at League 2 grounds and in games involving League 2 teams.Meadow Lane was the place to see the most goals in League 2 this season with 70 in the 23 matches (45 for the hosts). Priestfield saw the joint 4th most goals with 65 but only 29 were for the Gills. Swindon's County Ground saw 38 scored by the hosts.
Tranmere Rovers were the best value for goals in League 2 with 133 scored in their 46 league matches thanks largely to them conceding a league high of 79. Cambridge's matches saw the fewest with 99 thanks largely to them conceding a league low of 33.

Results according to pitch size and distance travelled.The Gills enjoyed their long travels, securing 20 pts from 42 in games against teams more than 230 miles away - although Oldham, Salford & Harrogate also enjoyed the distance by winning at Priestfield. No wins came home or away against the 7 sides that are closest to Priestfield.
According to Football Ground Guide, only 3 sides had a larger pitch size than Priestfield. Although the Gills secured 10 points from a possible 18 in those games, 9 were at home.
