2017/18 season.

Postby gillsfan1066 » Wed Jun 21, 2017 9:37 pm

Bit depressing to see that GFC are red hot favorites to be relegated along with Shrewsbury and either N'thmpton or Oldaham, well thats a great start I must say.
November and December , April going into May and the play offs seem to be the months when we can score a bunch of points, which we might need to keep in that top 7 or God forbid to get away from that bottom 3. March which could well be a rough month for the Gills if we played like we did in the last campaign.
Come on you GILLS , give us a season to remember for all the right reasons.

At the risk of being called pedantic, and just to deepen your gloom, four teams are relegated from league 1. I have to say also that Doncaster away and Bradford at home as the first 2 games will make a good start quite difficult. Still you never know...

You can be as pedantic as you like old mate (whats does he mean, what does he mean) after the bottom three then there tends to be a group of five or six with about the same odds to be relegated, including Blackpool, The Wombles, Rochdale, Walsall etc, dam, I hope the odds makers are all wrong.
You can get 12/1 for the Gills to finish in the top 6, might be worth a "fitty", after all our defense looks OK, and I am sure we going to bring in at least two more goal scorers before the season starts.................aren't we ??
