I have been lucky enough to have seen both play.It is a tough decision because both have played brilliantly for us.King was fantastic in our promotion season and it was like having an extra CB on the pitch where he would throw his body on the line for the club. His positional sense was excellent.I`m confident if King had not got injured in the pre-season before our league 1 campaign we would have comfortably stayed up.Egan is basically the same player, fully committed, great timed tackles, body on the line etc.I would say Egan edges it because he is younger, and going forward he is a big threat in attacking areas.
Egan will go on to play premier league football, and King certainly would have had he not got his injuries.
