Callum Davies leaves

Postby Garawa » Wed Dec 23, 2015 8:07 pm

Davies has been allowed to terminate his contract and has joined Maidstone. He hasn't featured this season and wasn't really given a chance under Edinburgh or Allen. He will be a very good player at that level and I liked his tenacity and desire to defend at all costs. Good luck Callum.

Never given a chance whilst inferior loan players got games. Don't understand why unless something was going on in training or with his attitude> I hope he does really well and gets a proper shot at league football in the future.

I thought that. Everybody got a chance but not him. Met him twice at Noircat and he seemed a truly nice bloke.

He was a nice bloke, but it seemed no manager trusted him to play in a run of games. He has always been behind Egan,Oshilaja,Barrett,Frampton,Lennon,Ehmer etc.I wish him good luck at Maidstone.

He was a nice lad and when I spoke to him at noircat presentation last year he had been suffering long term wjth a foot/ankle injury which, I believe, could limit his chances in the pro game. It's a shame but I wish him all the best.
