Gills have signed Reading striker Dominic Samuel on an emergency loan.He had a good spell on loan at Coventry last season. He is described as nippy,so hopefully he will be a handful.

I guess Samuel shows what a big gap there is between Championship football and Division 1 football, guys great in the lower division, but can't find first team football in the Championship, take note please Mr Scally, and be prepared to loosen those purse strings when we go up in May.

He had a very good game. Got into great positions and was difficult to defend against. His goal was very simple but he had to be in the right place to anticipate the keeper spilling it in the first place. Had a few chances so lets hope he and Cody score against their old club on Saturday!

Actually I thought he took it really well; a lot of players would have snatched at it and sent it into the crowd.
