I've just seen your posts, which is all new to me not being on twitter, but thanks for all that. In reality, the truth behind it all, my birthday was ages ago but unknown to me, our two sons wrote to Gillingham and asked if they could buy a shirt and could the team sign it for me as it was my 70th birthday. They not only obliged but said they would do it for free as a special birthday gift. Our sons then had to get it framed and finally presented me with it. It was an amazing effort for the boys to do it for me but an even more amazing thing that Gillingham did for me. I can't thank them enough for their generosity. When I read some of the articles on hear about lack of PR i find it hard to relate to. When we visited a couple of years ago, we were greeted with open arms, not only by Garry and his friends from the pub but from the club as well. We fronted up on a cold and wet day completely unknown yet the PR man invited us in and gave us a tour and spent quite a bit of time with us. I was left with really good feelings about the club, that is apart from the games I saw, a loss at home and another loss away to Port Vale. I'll just say again, thank you Gillingham for the fantastic gesture, I'm completely rapt.
