Watching it on TV it seemed more evident than watching live how lacking in quality there is at this level. I can't remember anyone trying to take a defender on successfully or playing a collection of passes designed to unlock the other teams defence; the game simply consisted of honest endeavour, hard running, pushing, shoving and fouling, and then lots of moaning at the officials. I guess it's always less exciting on TV, but I really couldn't see what anyone could have become excited about, apart from the goals. Obviously the one piece of quality came from Dack's free kick, but surely the players at this level should be able to produce more than that?
