- Out of the 45 meetings between the Gills and Notts County, just 6 have ended as draws with none in the last 9 games. The Gills lead the wins by 17 wins to 12 and have won 2 of the last 3 meetings and 3 of the last 5.
- The away side have won all 4 of the last 4 meetings between the sides including Notts County’s Priestfield success back in February the last time the sides met. It means that after successive Gills home wins in October 2013 and May 2015, County have won on their last 2 visits.
- Notts County have won 1 and lost 4 of their last 6 league and cup games on the road however the win came in their most recent away league match at Tranmere.
- Between December and February, Notts County won 9 out of 13 games placing them joint 3rd in the table. The following 20 league and cup games at the end of last season and start of this produced 4 wins and 12 defeats including 6 defeats from 7 in May & August but they have won 3 of their last 4 league games.
- Notts County have had 39 shots off target or blocked, the joint lowest total in League 2 however, with 70 attempts at goal in total, 44.3% have been on target which is the best accuracy in the division.
