Monday 19th
The Gills last-gasp win over Newport prevented it becoming 9 home league games without a win and would have equalled the club record set in September 1961. It also avoided 10 at home in all competitions, a record that was set in November 1899.

Tuesday 20th
When the score was 1-1 at half time at Priestfield, the Gills win against Newport was their first win in 6 games. 3 of the last 9 home games with the score 1-1 at the break have been against Newport County and 3 of the last 13 have ended 3-2.

Wednesday 21st
The Gills' 3 goals against Newport was the first time they had scored 3 goals in a home game for 16 months (although they had managed 4 on 2 occasions this season). It was also 103 league games since the Gills gave away more than 1 lead in a home league game and just there have been just 2 further games in that period away from home.

Thursday 22nd
The Newport win made it 2 wins out of 3 without defeat when shooting first towards the Rainham End (both winning goals were scored at the Town end). By comparison, the Gills have won 4 of the 13 games shooting at the Town End in the first half and the 4 winning goals out of the 19 came at the Rainham End.

Friday 23rd
The goals conceded against Newport made it 9 successive home games without a clean sheet and 10 in all competitions for the first time since October 2018. Conceding against Harrogate would make it 7 league games without a clean sheet for the first time since the end of Jan 2025.
