- After AFC Wimbledon suffered 4 defeats in 5 games in all competitions (all of their defeats this season), they have since remained unbeaten in the 5 games (2 wins) with all coming in the league.
- Starting with their win at Priestfield back in February, AFC Wimbledon have lost just 1 of their last 8 away league games (a 1-0 loss at Hull) and have won 4.
- Despite sitting in 12th, AFC Wimbledon had been behind for the shortest period of time for all League 1 sides - just 97 minutes during their 12 matches.

Another home game! This time against our bogey side.Wimbledon was the last home game we all got to,and an ex Gill in Callum Reilly made it a horrible afternoon as he scored an injury time winner. They ended our 15 game unbeaten run.For some reason we struggle to beat them at Priestfield, but fingers crossed that changes tomorrow.

Three big points going to the Gills, even though The Dons seemed to have out played us in Time of Possession, Shots on Target, and Corners ,but the most important fact is we walked away with the win . Damn shame we let those six games go buy without picking up any points in October and the start of November, one win and a draw or two and we would have been up banging on the play offs door. I think it is going to take a lot of effort and a lot of luck for the Gills to dislodge those at the top of the table. I know we have only played about 25 % of the season , but there are some pretty big names desperate for promotion in that group.

Finally a win over Wimbledon at Priestfield, also a first win on a Tuesday night in the league at home for 5 years.I read a stat that this was also the first home win against a Wimbledon side since 1961! A quick start for us to set the tempo was rewarded with an early goal.A great ball into Dempsey who finished well. Our levels dropped off midway in the first half and their equaliser was coming.A good header to be fair to them.We managed to get the winner when a great ball from Ogilvie found Samuel who finished it really well.I did worry they would get a late goal which they have a few times at Priestfield, but we saw the game out well.

3 League games unbeaten now,so looking a lot better than it was a few weeks ago.

Gillingham boss Steve Evans admits the decision to leave Celtic loanee Scott Robertson out on Tuesday will have hurt the player.

Evans says he took him out of the XI for the midweek game against Wimbledon because he didn’t want the youngster to suffer any more injury problems - as has happened before.

All good stuff , but one swallow doesn't make for a good ti, no sorry, one swallow doesn't make a summer,so lets see you do it against Exeter on Saturday, then against Bristol and Swindon,( I didn't even realize the Swine there were in Division 1 ) then start crowing about how wonderful GFC is. Not trying to put a damper on things but when I just looked at the table I had to scroll way, way down the page to find Gillingham FC who were nearer a relegation spot than automatic promotion place .
So come on you Gills show us what you can do, sure you rise to the occasion to play Charlton, now go and beat the snot out of 4th Division Exeter, thump the hell out of a wowful Bristol side that have not won a game since God was a pup, and then beat a pretty pathetic Swine who have only won one game in the last 5.
