[ 22 Dec 23 ] Forest Green Rovers v GILLS Match Thread

- Back in September and October, Forest Green lost 6 consecutive league games in a spell which saw 10 league and cup defeats from their opening 14 games. They have recovered by losing 3 of the 13 played since however 4 have come in their last 5 games. They have 2 league wins in 14 games.
- Forest Green have lost their last 2 home league and cup games without scoring and are winless in their last 4 with 1 win in the last 6. In the league, they are winless in 2 games at home and their only 2 wins have come in their last 5 after opening with 6 successive defeats.
- Forest Green have the joint highest number of blank sheets in the division - 8 along side Doncaster. They have failed to score in their last 3 league games and also in 5 of the 7 since winning 5-0 against Colchester.
- The Gills are the league's lowest scorers with 19 and Forest Green Rovers are 1 ahead with 20. The hosts have scored the fewest first half goals (7) and have the worst first half goal difference in League 2 (-11).
- Forest Green's 7 leads taken in League 2 is the fewest amount and the 10 home leads conceded is the most. They have conceded leads in all bar 2 of their 11 home league games this season. Their 255 minutes leading and 864 behind is the fewest and most in the division respectively.
