- The Gills have an impressive record against Bradford, winning 23 of the 55 meetings and losing just 15. However, the Gills are winless in 3 matches against them since a 4-0 win back in October 2018 - their only win in the last 8 meetings.
- Bradford won their last visit to Priestfield back in February after losing their previous visit in 2018. The Gills have won 1 and lost 2 of their last 4 home games against Bradford.
- In all competitions, Bradford have won their last 4 matches home and away including 5-1 and 4-0 wins the Football League Trophy. They followed 5 defeats in the 6 games before them and 8 defeats in the previous 13.
- Bradford have won their last 2 league games without conceding, ending a run of 4 successive league defeats in which they conceded 12 goals. Those defeats were part of a winless run of 5 which followed a previous pair of back-to-back league wins.
- Bradford have lost 4 of their last 6 away games but their last outing saw a 3-0 win at Forest Green after they had previously lost 3 in a row and conceded 10 goals in the process.
