Postby Garawa » Thu Nov 09, 2023 9:09 pm

- The Gills met Salford for the first time last season when both games were won by the away sides and with clean sheets.
- After 6 successive defeats back in September (part of a run of 8 losses in 10 league and cup games), Salford have since lost 3 from the 12 games played in all competitions but are winless in their last 3.
- Salford had won 4 and lost 4 of their away league games this season before drawing their previous match on the road 0-0 at Barrow. The 4 away games before them saw Salford score 9 goals and their 15 in 9 games is 1 more than the Gills have scored in their 17 home and away.
- Salford have conceded 16 goals in the first halves of their league games, the joint highest total in the division. This has decreased from 11 in their first 10 games to 5 in their most recent 7 since.
- Salford's last 11 league and cup games have seen them keep 3 league and cup clean sheets. The other 8 matches saw them concede at least 2 goals in the match - letting in 21 goals in total in those 8 games.
- The 69 corners won by Salford is the fewest amount won in League 2 and is 21 fewer than the Gills. 12 of their 69 came in their home defeat against Walsall and the most the Gills have won in a league or cup game this season is 10.
