[ 29 Aug 23 ] Luton Town v GILLS (EFL Cup, R2) Match Thread

Bonne brilliantly flicks on and Jayden Clarke smashes the ball into the net after dragging back to evade a challenge from a defender.

(21.04) Bonne causes more mayhem moments before Clarke chases a backpass to Tim Krul down who attempts to clear and smashes the ball off the Gills attacker. He breathes a sigh of relief as it bounces just wide of the goal.

(21.07) Gills break the Luton defence yet again. Nadesan slots under Krul whose trailing leg deflects the ball just wide of goal for a corner. From the Gills corner, the ball falls to Bonne but he blazes over the bar from close range.

There match was cancelled this week because of construction work,is the ground even ready for the Mighty Gills to grace that s*** pit of a stadium with our presence ?
