[ 18 Feb 23 ] Rochdale v GILLS Match Thread

- The Gills lead the wins over Rochdale by 18 wins to 16 and a further 19 meetings were drawn. The Gills are unbeaten in the last 6 games between the sides, winning 3 of them.
- The Gills are unbeaten in 8 home games against Rochdale, winning 6 of them. The 2 draws have come in the most recent 4 matches. Rochdale's last win at Priestfield came back in September 2012.
- Between September and November 2022, Rochdale won 4 out of 8 league games (including a spell of 3 wins in 4) ending with them sitting 19th. Since then, they have won 1 of the 14 league games and lost 9 of them.

(16.13) A fizzing cross is spilled by Morris. Nobody is there for the hosts to capitalise and the Gills clear.

(16.18) Glenn Morris is forced into a fine save as Rochdale look desperate to get level.

(16.24) Morris makes a fine save, tipping the ball onto the crossbar which then bounces back onto the top of the bar before going behind.

WWWOOOWWW HHHOOO UP UP and away we go.Just think if we had been sitting around mid table at Christmas we could be knock knock knocking on that 7th spot. Still another great win for the Gills,another 3 points and suddenly the drop zone is in the rear view mirror.
