- Salford are winless in 7 home league games but on the road, they won 5 out of 6 before losing their most recent 2 away League 2 matches.
- In all competitions, Salford have won 1 of their last 7 games whilst the Gills have won 1 of their last 13. In the league, the Gills are winless in 8 and have lost 3 of their last 4 games whilst Salford have 1 win in 7 and have also lost 3 of their 4.
- Salford have failed to score in 5 of their last 7 league games. The Gills have also failed to score in 5 of their last 7 with all 5 coming in the last 5 games in that sequence. Salford have, however, the joint highest away clean sheets (4) and joint fewest away goals conceded (7).
- In Salford's last 13 league games, 3 matches saw them win 21, 21 and 23 fouls in the game which accounted for 3 of the 6 most fouls from the 227 League 2 matches played so far. Most-fouled Doncaster's highest fouls won is 21 and the most the Gills have conceded is 18.

(12.33) Kick Off [ 4 - 1 - 3 - 2 ]

(12.43) A thrid corner for the Gills already. This time Williams heads just wide.

(12.45) A good long range strike from Reeves forces a good stop from the 'keeper and wins another corner.

(12.59) Gills are moving the ball around well and breaking down any Salford move quickly. Another interception finds McKenzie who shoots a little too high.

(13.00) The ball falls loose 3 yards from goal and is lost between the attacker, Turner and a Gills defender. Turner finds it and gathers before any touch would have put it into the net.

(13.10) Again, Gills win possession back deep in the Salford half and Green forces the save.

(13.18) Salford end the half strongly. Green and McKenzie produce good blocks to deny a shot on target.

(13.21) Gills have been fouled all half with no action taken but a rare free kick is awarded. Wright delivers and Williams heads just over.

(13.22) Half time 0-0

(13.39) The second half kicks off.

(13.47) GOAL! Gillingham 0-1 Salford City: Vassell

(13.51) Mandron shoots just wide from inside the box.

(13.53) Elkan Baggott comes on as a sub for Robbie McKenzie.

(13.56) GOAL! Gillingham 0-2 Salford City: Watson
A freakish goal. A poor shot evades everyone and us tricking wide. Turner is watching it but it somehow takes a deflection and rolls slowly into the net.

(14.01) A Salford shot goes just over the bar but Turner had it covered.

(14.04) Gills lose possession. With Turner off his line, Hendry shoots from the half way line but the ball falls just wide of the left hand Rainham End post.

(14.08) GOAL! Gillingham 0-3 Salford City: Hendry

(14.16) A clash of heads forces off Baggott, he us replaced by O'Keefe.

(14.25). Walker forces the Salford 'keeper into a good save, probably the Gills best effort of the match.

(14.29) FULL TIME 0-3
