- The Gills lead the wins over Lincoln by 21 wins to 16. There have been 14 draws including the reverse fixture from the opening day of the season.
- The 1-1 draw earlier this season ended a run of 6 games in which there were clean sheets in all 6 and a total of 7. The Gills haven't conceded any goals in their last 3 visits (4-0, 0-0 and most recently 3-0).
- Lincoln have won 4 of their 17 home league games this season and have 2 wins and 7 defeats from their last 11. Those 2 wins have come in the last 6.
- Lincoln have lost 5 of their last 8 games. The Gills have only lost 3 of their last 8 however have also won just 2 of their last 23 with both wins coming in the most recent 6 matches. Lincoln have 4 wins in 10.
- Lincoln have just 1 home league clean sheet this season and the Gills have managed 2 in their away league games. This is many as Lincoln have managed all season home and away and is the fewest in League 1, 2 fewer than next worst Crewe and 6 fewer than the Gills.

(15.00) Kick Off [ 3 - 4 - 2 - 1 ]

(15.11) Phillips does really well to steal the ball and finds Thompson in the ideal position to score. He tries to pass the ball into the net when certain to score and it's cleared off the line.

(15.14) Gills are causing panic and winning balls deep in the Lincoln half. Lee sends a ball into the box, Masterson wins the first header before McKenzie swings a foot at the ball but it goes high and is easily collected.

(15.19) McKenzie volleys at goal with power. The 'keeper saves but can only push the ball onto the inside of the post but the ball comes back out, just evading Oliver and is cleared.

(15.22) After a bright first 5 minutes, Lincoln have faced a barrage of Gills attacks. Spurred on by this, Lincoln come forward with an attack involving Marquis. An effort is blocked on the line and starts a scramble in the Gills box before a shot by Maguire is straight at Chapman.

(15.29) Former Gill John Marquis gets the ball he wants in the box but doesn't take the touch he wanted and spurns a great chance to score.

(15.43) Phillips is fouled badly with a high 2-footed lunge on him. Despite the protests, the ref says it is a yellow card offence.

(15.47) Half time 0-0

(16.04) The second half kicks off.

(16.15) Chris Maguire tests Chapman who spills the ball and gathers at the second attempt.
