[ 15 Jan 22 ] GILLS v Burton Match Thread

- Both the Gills and Burton have won 6 meetings each and a further 4 were drawn. 3 of those 4 draws have come in the last 4 meetings including 1-1s in the last 2.
- The Gills last beat Burton in January 2019 and they are winless in the 5 games since (losing 2). At Priestfield, Burton have gone home victorious on their last 2 visits.
- The Gills have lost their last 3 home league games without scoring. Burton drew 1-1 at Cheltenham in their last match, ending a sequence of 4 straight away league defeats.
- Burton have won the fewest fouls in League 1 (194) at an average of 8.1 per game. They have conceded 11 in their last 3 games (including 2 in one match, the lowest amount in a League 1 games this season) whilst the Gills gave away 11 fouls against Ipswich.

(16.17) A long drive from Lee is met by the 'keeper who tips the shot just over the bar.

(16.18) The corner comes in. Lee drives another ball in but it deflects just wide for a corner. Lee sends it in but Tucker's effort is just over.

(16.21) Lee finds Dempsey in a lot of space. With McKenzie in support and room produce something, Dempsey goes it alone and curls a shot well wide.

(16.26) Lloyd's turn to drive forward and get a shot away but he was unable to alter the angle enough and shoots wide.

(16.28) Dahlberg is called upon to make a good on-handed stop and prevents the opportunity for the visitors to tap in the rebound.

(16.30) A long Dahlberg kick finds Oliver, who stays onside, and shoots from a tight angle. The shot is blocked and the Gills have a corner.
