No easy games coming up in March, P'tsmth, MKD, Ipswich, Lincoln, glad we have that 12 point cushion between us and Rochdale. Of course it works the other way, don't like to see that 9 point cushion Doncaster have at the moment.Oh well another year in Division 3 next year I guess,I wonder who the manager will be,is Evans on his second year of a 2 year contract ? I guess he might still be here, don't exactly imagine many teams will be calling him after two lower mid table finishes under his belt at The Gills.

I heard a rumour (from no reliable source) that said Evans has an option of a 1 year extension which either side can exercise and Evans has to the annoyance of Scally. No idea if that is true or not.

I heard from a guy named Heinz who is an incredibly reliable source, that a certain person who resides in the Newcastle area has already got an open ticker on British Rail to come and manage the Gills for at least 2 years in an attempt to revitalize his managerial career .
He will of course leave by Christmas after Gillingham get off to a great start ,winning their first seven games before slowly dropping down the table and finding themselves in 10th place by the New Year.
Scallys refusal to buy Mo Salah,Aguero,Harry Kane and the aging Cristiano Ronaldo causes a rift between the certain person I am talking about and The Scalmyster , so him , the one that shall not be named (my H Potter reference for today) part ways.
Gillingham go on to finish in 15th place for the 5th season in a row, and Mr.X goes of to Orient ,to save them from relegation, which of course he doesn't do,because he had left by March 3rd.

I only saw the result, but I’m pleased that we got a point down there. We responded well to going behind, and Bonham has made some good saves.Oliver equalised, and Akinde could have won it in the last minute.Hopefully we can build on the point against MK Dons.
