- Crewe lead the wins 22 to the Gills 20 and there have been just 8 draws. The last draw came 10 games before today's match back in February 2011.
- The Gills have won the last 3 meetings with Crewe without conceding a goal and have won 5 of the last 7 meetings, all with clean sheets (1-0, 3-0, 1-0, 2-0 and 3-0).

- Since losing to the Gills earlier in the season, Crewe have won 7 and only lost 2 of the subsequent 14 matches and they are unbeaten in their last 10.
- With 119 shots on target, Crewe have the most attempts on target in League 1 have are the most accurate when shooting at goal (41.5% on target) but they have only converted 27.7% of the shots on target into goals, the lowest rate in the division.

Great result today now Scally sign Lee TODAY, don't wait until the end of the season make the deal ,if he knocks in another dozen or so this season someone else will snap him up, and he is what we need big time. I think looking at the Gills team all in all it is not a bad team,I think it is a better team than a lot of those around us, and it seems when we get off to a good start we win games, and not have to rely on scoring in the 93rd minute to grab a point.
Come on Steve Evans start earning your money and stop just goofing around, teach a couple of those guys in midfield how to hold the ball and then play it forwards to one of our guys and let them do the rest.

Well I really didn’t see a 4-1 win! Crewe love to play on the edge, and they kept passing around their half, which with our high pressing game was not a good idea! A Graham penalty, and then goals from Lee,and Dempsey put us in control at half-time.Another Lee goal in the second half killed the game off. They pulled one back late in the game, but the game was won at halftime.

A really good win, especially as they were ten unbeaten before. Our first double win of the season.I don’t think anyone saw that result, but it shows you don’t know what Gills side will turn up! Three games unbeaten, and a tough game away to Sunderland next.
Noircat Premier League Champion 2007,and 2014.Noircat FA Cup (Runner Up 2014).Promoted to the Premier League (Runner Up 2017,and 2020 in the Championship).

We could never afford to buy him unless we use some money from the Walsh sale. I know his fee would be small given that he only has a couple of months left on his contract but we would have to seek getting him for free at the end of the season and then, as you say, he may have plenty of other clubs checking him him out. I'm sure we will be seeking to get him settled and willing to stay so he doesn't want to go elsewhere.
