- The Gills last won at MK Dons back in March 2014. They have lost their last 3 visits - 0-1, 2-3 and 2-4.
- The Gills 3-1 win over MK Dons back in December broke a spell of 3 successive wins for the hosts. There have been no draws in 9 meetings and only 1 in the last 11.
- MK Dons have won 2 matches this season but both have come in cup games. They are winless in 8 league games since a 1-0 win over Bolton in February.
- A year ago, MK Dons lost 13 of 15 matches played including 7 in a row. Since then, they have lost 10 the subsequent 27 games in all competitions.
- MK Dons are the only League 1 side to have not led at all in any of their league matches. They have been behind for longest - a total of 295 minutes and an average of 59.0 minutes per game.
- MK Dons are 1 of 4 League 1 sides to have conceded 6 first half goals. 5 of those 6 goals have come in the first 20 minutes of their league games and they have conceded just 3 more in the remaining 70 minutes.

13.00 Kick Off [ 4 - 2 - 3 -1 ]

13.19
GOAL! MK Dons 1-0 Gillingham: Jerome
The Gills are the only League 1 side to be unbeaten in the league this season when conceding first in an away match - 1 win and 1 draw.

13.29
Dean Lewington slips and brings down Samuel in the penalty area. With a difficult decision to make, the referee decides to give the foul against Samuel instead.

13.39
Dempsey fizzes a ball into the box. It heads towards Samuel but the ball just evades him when any touch would look likely to go in and runs wide of goal.

13.48 Half time 1-0 (48:36)

14.04
The second half kicks off.

14.06
GOAL! MK Dons 2-0 Gillingham: Morris

14.09
Another Dempsey cross finds Oliver in the box. He stretches but cannot quite reach the ball, collides with the keeper and the ball rolls wide.

14.32
MK Dons find themselves through on goal. The Gills defence is missing but a fine save from Bonham keeps the Gills in the game.

14.41
Morris, with acres of space, is prevented from shooting by Bonham who smothers the ball.

15.54 FULL TIME 2-0 (98:42)

One shot on target what the hell should I expect a win ?? I am going to play golf, I wasn't going to it;s about 50 and the wind is going to be blowing around 25 mph, but I don't care need to smash the little white ball around , not going to be a Titleist or Callaway ball, I will call it a GFC today.

I think this was a typical Gills day.Do well against the better teams, but come unstuck against the poorer teams. It looks like we didn’t turn up,and without Bonham we could have got a hiding. We have tough games coming up,so hopefully we will see better performances.
Noircat Premier League Champion 2007,and 2014.Noircat FA Cup (Runner Up 2014).Promoted to the Premier League (Runner Up 2017,and 2020 in the Championship).
