- It is incredibly even results-wise between the sides. Both Rochdale and the Gills have won 16 of their meetings and 17 have ended level. Both sides have won 3 of their last 8 meetings.
- Despite the even nature of results between the sides, it has been far from even at Rochdale. The Gills last won there in May 2009 - 4 draws followed then, most recently, 3 defeats (1-4, 0-3, 0-3).
- If league and cup games all scored the same points, the Gills would have dropped 13 points from winning positions this season. Rochdale have dropped a whopping 12 points from their last 9 games, losing 4 games they were winning.
- Rochdale ended a sequence of 8 league losses out of 9 games (which included 5 consecutive defeats) by beating Accrington and Bolton. That mini run was ended last weekend with a loss at Wycombe.
- Rochdale's 2-0 home win over Bolton ended a sequence of 4 home defeats which saw 9 goals conceded. Their 12 home league matches have produced 3 wins and 6 defeats.

Our recent record at Rochdale is poor.No win I believe since 2009.They’re below us in the table,so hopefully we can keep the unbeaten run going.

How does Rochdale have almost twice as much possession as the Gills, yet we have twice as many shots on target and four times as many corners , do we just kick the pigs bladder up the field and defend letting them kick the ball around to try and find a way through ??
