I swear if we draw again today I will probably scream, break which ever club I have in my hand at the time , because by 4.45 your time I will be on about the 3 or 4th hole at Cantigny and will probably upset my playing partners. Looks like the last nice weekend of the 2019 Chicagoland golf season ,there talking flakes next weekend, no ,no, not the Gills players , snowflakes.
Come on you Gills ,win this one big for the travelling Gills fans, anyone going to Accrington to watch the Gills needs to see a few Gills goals and a win.

Well we got the three points, so thats good, but the way the game read on the BBC report we seemed to have picked poor old Stanley's pocket, ( serves them right for having a silly name, ), lol.
I think I have come to the conclusion even after picking up these three points that it is going to be a long winter and about a 12 place finish seems to be the best I can hope for the Gills, are you sure we not putting out the same squad this year as we did last year, just with different names on their shirts ?

After watching Perth Glory win on telly I had a few minutes up my sleeve so I looked up your Cantigny golf course. Very nice for a public course, a fair bit more expensive than ours but would be a very nice day out if the golf was good.

Morning Mr B , so what do you think of the Rugby, an England v South Africa game, kind of what I had hoped for ,I always seem to remember in years gone by Wales would always seem to kick our butts, so glad we got S.Africa.
Cantigny is operated by Kemper Sports , they own and operate golf course all over the US, and we have a group of anything from like 4 to 10 that play all the time and several of them work for Kemper so although there are probably 10 clubs they manage in Chicago we normally only play Cantigny, Harborside, and the Glen Club. Cantigny is fantastic, (until the rain came), trees all changing color, Harborside has two courses the Port and The Starboard (tough as hell when the wind blows) and The Glen which for this part of the World is hilly.
All three are great courses and completely different, and although in theory there public you can actually get membership at each club which is nice, The Glen even has a hotel there so it's fun to spend a weekend golfing ,eating ,and drinking , even though it is close to home.
Do you play much yourself, where do you play ,which course in your area, they all look pretty flat like most of ours here in the flat bit of America, I guess the real difference is we have squirrels running around on our courses you have bloody great kangaroos, lol.

Great to get that first away win.It did sound like we rode our luck with them hitting the post 3 times, and Bonham making some top saves. We were due some luck away with us not getting the win at places like Tranmere and Bristol Rovers where we were better for large spells.Hopefully we can build on this win.
Noircat Premier League Champion 2007,and 2014.Noircat FA Cup (Runner Up 2014).Promoted to the Premier League (Runner Up 2017,and 2020 in the Championship).
