- AFC Wimbledon are unbeaten in 4 league matches and have just once in 7. Those 7 games have seen 5 wins after just 6 were won in the previous 31 league games (including a 1-0 victory at Priestfield).
- AFC Wimbledon have won their last 2 home games with a clean sheet having won 3 home games previous to them and securing just 2 other clean sheets (both in 0-0s). Along with Southend, their 11 home losses is the most in League 1.
- After 8 straight league defeats in November, Wimbledon dropped to 23rd and 7 points from safety. After 4 straight defeats in February, they dropped to bottom and 10 points from safety. A win could see them level on points with a side not in the relegation zone.
- Both sides have 10 clean sheets in the league this season and Wimbledon have managed 4 in a row. 4 of the Gills have come in away games whilst 4 of Wimbledon's have come at home.
- The Gills and Wimbledon are 2 of 4 sides in League 1 to have conceded 28 leads, the most in the division. The Gills stay behind for slightly longer - an average of 44.2 minutes per lead conceded compared to the Dons 38.8.
- AFC Wimbledon have managed the fewest shots on target in the league with 127 whilst the Gills have faced the most with 224. The Gills have managed 141 shots on target and the Dons have faced 168.
- AFC Wimbledon are the lowest scorers in the league with 32 goals and have managed 18 from 19 home league games thanks in part to 15 blank sheets (only Bradford have more).
- AFC Wimbledon have led for just 237 minutes of their 19 home league matches and 504 minutes from their 38 in total. The Gills have led for 402 minutes in their away games.

I know 51 points is that " magic number", to stay up, but I have a feeling this year 51 points might not be enough for that 20th team to keep there place in Division One.
So many teams along with Gillingham sitting on the same number of points I think we are going to need at least 53 points to be sure the new manger comes into a team playing First Division Football next season.

Out of contract in the summer , and has already said that he won't be staying with us, as he wants to play in a higher division

Shame he is not going with the Gills into a higher division. He has come on big time with Gillingham ,bastard should stay and thank us for making him what he is today, lol, although an article I was reading says he is only worth 100,000 Euros, how ever much that is in real money. Teams like Middlesborough or Derby might grab him, they can't hit the back of the net if they tried.

If Sunderland go up , which will probably be via the play-offs , then i'd be surprised if he didn't end up there .

They were reportedly sniffing around in January , and Scally gave some cryptic comment about advising him that , if he left in January , he needed to be sure that he'd be playing in a higher division next season .

A fantastic win. They were in form after their revival.Great character to come back and win well.A tough place to go,and three important points. The first time we have scored four in an away game since 2011.Into the top half, but still so tight behind us.Two wins will secure safety.

I can not understand this,if they had said to Sunderland in January you NEED EAVES,YOU MUST have this guy 's your only chance of going up is to have this guy on your team , now write me a check for XYZ,I bet they would have done it.
Now we are not going to get any thing for him ,he is just going to walk away for free right ?
Of course Scally's argument is going to be we needed his 19/20+ goals to keep us up this year , which means what, when he is gone next year it's going to be another year we sit at the bottom of the table and struggle again. I'm to old for this.
