Need a win. Cold, drab Tuesday night with a threat of snow against Accrington Stanley.....the fans won't be up for it and that will filter through to the players. Must score first otherwise we will be chasing the game again. I'm fed up of seeing the opposition also sprinting from the start at attacking, trying to unsettle us. Far too often they get the goal and dictate the game and we play well in the second half trying to get something out of it. Can't be that hard to score first surely?

Two lost in my opinion but it wasn't a dull 0-0. Eaves was my man of the match as he hit the post, forced a powerful save from the keeper and cleared a ball off the line. In fact the keeper had to make 4 strong saves and we hit the woodwork twice so disappointed not to have scored. The best chance wasn't any of those chances. Ogilvie was played through and with acres of space, he played the ball away from goal to find Rees in acres of space inside the box and all defenders flat-footed. Any good touch and its 1-0 but he decided to take a touch first and the keeper blocked the shot. I can see why AS hadn't scored in 5 games although they too had chances and I guess the slippery turf didn't help matters but we were an inch or two away from about 6 goals tonight. The real man of the match was their keeper without a doubt.

It did sound an entertaining 0-0,just a bit frustrating we didn’t get the win to push away from the bottom 4.
