- The Gills were last in Round 4 of the FA Cup back in 2003/4 when they lost to fellow Championship side Burnley.
- The last time they made Round 4 having entered in Round 1 was back in 1999/00 when they made it to the Quarter-Finals for the only time in their history.
- This is only the Gills 13th match played in the FA Cup 4th round. They have previously won 3 and lost 6 but in away games it is a draw and 3 defeats from 4 games played - the draw coming against higher league opposition.

The crowd was what 15,000 so we get 5,000 @ 30 quid a time average, perhaps 40 , so we should walk away with close to 50 grand, that should get us a start on the wages of an on loan player till the end of the season from someone shouldn't it ?

I thought we made it too easy for Swansea in the first half. They got through easily, and McBurnie had easy finishes.McKay was the best player on the pitch for me.In the second half we put more on McBurnie so he had less freedom. We got back in the game with a good header from Rees.It was great to celebrate a goal.We had a good spell after that and nearly made it 2-2.They killed us off with a fantastic strike from Celina.Their 4th carved us open. They deserved the win, their quality was too much.We had some good banter with their fans on the left, and the Cup run was fun this season.Back to the league now.
