Postby Garawa » Mon Jan 14, 2019 7:50 pm

- The Gills have won 47 of the 115 meetings whilst Walsall have won 44. The Gills have won 2 of the last 4 meetings whilst Walsall have won 1 (the reverse fixture in August).
- The last time the Gills beat Walsall at Priestfield was back in September 2007. Since then, there have been 6 games played with 5 ending in draws (including the last 2).
- The meetings have been tight affairs - the last 16 have seen 8 draws (including 6 in a row) and the 8 wins have all been by a single goal.
- Walsall are the only side in League 1 not to have scored a league goal in the opening 10 minutes of the match. They are 1 of 4 sides to have conceded 6 goal in that period, the most in the division.
- Walsall have scored a goal in both their last 2 away league games but they are their only goals in 7 league games on the road (14 conceded).
- After ending last season with 1 away win in 14, Walsall started this league campaign unbeaten in 6 on the road (4 wins). Since then, they have gone 7 away league matches without a win (5 defeats).
- Walsall are win-less in 6 league games (and have 1 win in 12). Those 6 games have seen Walsall drop from 10th to 16th and now just a point ahead of the Gills.
- Walsall have been behind 15 times in the league (4 fewer than the Gills) but are behind the longest, an average of 59.3 minutes each time they are behind.

The Gills don't need to bring anyone in during this transfer period, I mean we have played 30 minutes and as yet have not had a single shot ,let alone a shot on goal in the game. Go Gills he says in a pathetic weak voice, the voice of one that knows what years of nothingness with the Gills really means .

One of those performances that we have seen a bit too often at home. After Cardiff, and the confidence boosting win at Burton I thought we would turn up vs a relegation rival.Jarvis had a brilliant game and fed Cook for a hat-trick.The gap below goes back to one point again.
Noircat Premier League Champion 2007,and 2014.Noircat FA Cup (Runner Up 2014).Promoted to the Premier League (Runner Up 2017,and 2020 in the Championship).
