Eaves starting on the bench, why do I have this feeling that our results of late have something to do with Mr Eaves , don't know why, just have that gut feeling.
Don't like the way we seem to be trying to foul our way to a win in the last couple of games , five yellow and a red against Sarfend, 8 fouls to 4 in the first half, half of them from Hessy Jnr.,come on Gillingham lets get back to that football you were playing a few weeks ago, before Mr.Eaves had his little tantrum and the gaffer had to tell us everything was wonderful between Eaves and the Gills, I don't think it is.

He came on and we looked lively, he was his usual handful and the manager said the same in his press conference. Against Southend he twice had the ball in the net but was ruled out. Yet he seems to be getting a lot of stick from some fans.

I think you are right Gillsfan but for me, only because he has been spared largely. I don't know why, when you need goals leaving your top scorer on the bench seems criminal.

Only a team like Doncaster from up Norf could substitute a player called Alfie with another guy called Alfie, lol.

It looked like a boring game with few chances.I guess the only positives were the clean sheet, and hitting 50 points. We still need another win I think to make sure we`re not looking over our shoulders.
