- There have only been 10 previous meetings with Blackburn and the Gills have lost 6 of them. Their only win came in a 2-1 away victory back in November 2000.
- This is only the 4th home tie with Blackburn in the league - the previous matches have ended 1-1, 1-2 and 1-1. A further 2 cup games (including the most recent meeting here in Aug 2009) ended 1-3 and 1-2.
- The Gills have scored 9 goals in the 10 previous meetings with Blackburn (only once scoring more than 1). Rovers have scored 18 and the only time they have failed score against the Gills was in a 0-0 draw.
- Blackburn were previously ahead for 1,341 mins in all league games (an average of 36 mins per game). They had also been ahead for 627 mins in their away games (an average of 35 mins in every away game) and behind for just 220. All 3 totals are the best in League 1.
- Before today, Blackburn's 29 first half league goals was the most amount scored in League 1. Their 41 second half goals is the second highest - 1 more than the Gills have scored in total. The 70 scored is the 2nd highest total in the Football League.
- Blackburn's clean sheet in their 3-0 victory at AFC Wimbledon was their first in 10 away games. They have kept 5 in 21 league games home and away whilst the Gills have kept 4 over the same number of matches.
- Blackburn are unbeaten in 7 and have won 16 of their last 26 league games. They have won in the league in each of their their last 3 away games, in 4 of the last 5 away and also in 8 of their last 11 on the road.
- Blackburn have lost just 5 league matches (3 away from home). After losing 4 of their first 11 league games they have since lost just once in 26 - a 2-0 defeat at Plymouth.

After the high of last weeks great win at Portsmouth,we take on high flying Blackburn at home.Like Wigan they`re a class side, with a couple of familiar faces none more then Bradley Dack.Weather permitting it should be a decent game, and one we will need to be focused from the start. Our form is decent,so we wont fear themI would take a point and that would put us on 50 points.

I must have read that wrong, I thought the game had been called off yesterday not today, 40 quid is a lot of money for a train ticket where did you come in from Paris France , lol? Still at least you got the chance to shop in Gillingham High Street that must have been fun.
Good thing about this is that both B.Rovers and P'trboro lost, Charlton only picked up a point,so with a game in hand we didn't really fall behind the five teams in front of us viying for the playoff spots.

Just north of Birmingham - went to London anyway to have a wander around and meet up with a few former work colleagues so ticket not entirely wasted. Certainly won't be able to attend the rescheduled match

Ouch. Rather annoyingly I also cannot attend the rescheduled match for the 10th April. Probably my last chance of seeing Mr Dack back at Priestfield unless Rovers somehow do not get promoted!

New manager but same results for Bradford ,loss, loss, loss, so the Gills should be going there pretty confident of picking up points on Saturday, then the home game against the mighty Milton Keynes Dons, ( they will never be any good until they drop the name DON'S ,there hexed ) so by the time we play Sarfend I would like to think we would have swapped places with Pompey in the league. GO GIll'S , lets have a basket full of goals over Easter.
