Great win for the Gills and reading the reports seems we could have had two more at least, well done the boys in blue, Walsall at home on Saturday ,another win and we could easily be in the top 10, GO GILLS.

Another decent win on the road. The response since the Wigan defeat has been very positive.I listened on Gillsplayer, and it was an exciting first half to listen to.0-2 up and it sounded like we should have score four in the first half.Northampton were always going to have a go in the second half, and once they pulled a goal back they went for it.That made it a nervy last 30+ minutes. The character in the Team is strong and we held out for a decent away win,and our 7th of the season.A win against Walsall and the play off`s could really not be out of our range.

I have always said that a flying start to the season is worth it's weight in gold , you get into that bottom four an it seems every time you pick up points so do the teams just above you ,and it takes up until the middle of November to get back into the black part of the table and by then the top five or six teams are 15 points ahead .
Walsall and Bury next with the high flying Shrews as the spam in the sandwich , just think 9 points from those games, well even 2 wins and a draw or God forbid a loss to Shrewsbury would be great, I don't think we can realistically catch Bradford but it's nice to dream, lol.
Does anyone know, is Lovell only signed till the end of the season or is he on a 3 year contract ?

According a to a recent interview, Scally verbally offered one on the radio but no official deal has been put on the table.

31st January 2018 KOL ran this article.

Lovell, speaking about his new deal, added: “It is lovely and it’s peace of mind as well. It is a great job and one that we love doing. It’s a club I have supported for a long long time.

I know some people are critical of KOL but the BBC also infer that Lovell is happy with the offer.

How odd. He definitely said on Radio Kent 2 weeks ago that he hasn't been shown the contract let alone signed one! I was speaking to the former media manager about it at the game last Saturday. I'll try and catch Luke this afternoon.

I can confirm Baron that both Luke (KM) and Nick (former media manager) have said that SL is willing to sign the contract as soon as he sees it but one hasn't been presented to him.
