The second of the two game Ticket offers at Priestfield. The club reckon we may get over 7,000 tomorrow,so hopefully it will be as exciting as the Fleetwood game.Peterborough have plenty of quality, but have not shown it on a consistent basis.Marriott and Madison are a handful if you let them play.Hopefully we can put last weeks defeat at Wigan behind, and start a new unbeaten run.

TTTTTTTTTTTTTTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO close for comfort, jeezz my poor ticker won't take this sort of game to often. Nice point, good crowd, over 7,000, and yet we dropped a slot in the table, lol. Seems the Gills were completely out played for the first 75 minutes, was that the case ?

Not a great game, played in terrible conditions. The wind was strong, and it rained all game.I think Peterborough were the better side, and Marriott looked the best player on the pitch. It wasn`t a surprise when they went 0-1 up,but it looked like we had a deserved goal not given. Many in the RE said it was in.The atmosphere late on was decent, and when Ehmer scored in the 93rd minute to secure a point the roof came off. There was a bundle in the corner of the RE which the players seemed to enjoy! Not a good performance in those conditions, but we take the point and move on to Northampton on Tuesday.

Strange games coming up now, Nth'mpton playing well, Walsall running neck and neck with us, The Shrews away looking strong and then Bury, who I hope by the time we play them are allready relegated, or as good as. If just a couple of our draws had been three pointers we could be sitting a win or so off the promotion race. Oh well never mind, lets get the 50/52 points we need, then see what happens during the close season
.

A strange time of year for results, teams who have signed one or two players in the January window can see a dramatic change in form, Bury are just such a team with four games undefeated.
With our record against relegated sides that is probably a good thing, Forrest in 2004/5 and Wycombe in 2009/10, we just need to get four more wins from somewhere and we are over the line.
