It`s a big game for the club, with a great incentive to win.Carlisle are in League 2,but the FA Cup has many shocks. We`re all hoping to make the 3rd round and get a massive club,Carlisle will be thinking the same.I will be going, lets hope for an exciting afternoon and win for Gills.

Watched some of the Fyde / Wigan game yesterday, just thinking, we were playing them like a month ago a club thats only been around for a few years compared to The Gills yet they have played in the Premier Division for what 8 or 10 years, won the FA Cup, played in Europe and anyone that tells me that Wigan needed a footie club I will laugh at,there must be ten clubs within a 20 miles including Manchester's clubs,Liverpool and God knows how many 1st and 2nd division clubs, yet they have been to the top of the mountain, smelt that wonderful money filled air of Premiership footie.
Yeah there back drawing 1-1 with Gillingham in the Third Division ,but what a great ride their supporters have had in what 40 years, that about HALF the TIME Mr Lidbit has been a Gillingham supporter, lol.
Come on you Gills lets have a win today and then get a nice big pay day next round so Scally can go hunting in the Bulgarian Second Division for a star forward to bang in 25 goals this season and save us from relegation. GGGGGGGOOOOOOO GIIILLLLLLLLLSSSSSSSSSS.

Just great, a trip my Aussie friend informed me is to the furthest English club north in any football division . Of course he got that wrong because Berwick Rangers play in Berwick Upon Tweed which is the furthest northern most town in England ,just 2 1/2 miles from the border, but never mind he is after all standing on his head on the other side of the globe .
Anyway a nice away trip about as far as you can go north after the previous Saturdays trip about as far west as you can go to Plymouth, makes for a nice 1174 mile round journey inside 2 days, and whats the bet the winner gets a plum draw in the next round, lol??

Not a good game, the only positives are we`re still in the hat.We scored very early with a great free-kick from O`Neill, but I don`t think we actually forced their keeper into a save. The same for Holy who only touched the ball after their penalty,or when shots went high and wide.It was frustrating that we never went on and controlled the game, but Carlisle definitely came down to get a replay and they got it.The ref was poor, and so was the linesman on the Medway stand side.He missed a few offside`s which could have led to a Carlisle goal, also the ref gave them a penalty for a definite foul by Byrne, but never gave us one at the Rainham end for a clear foul on Martin. The long replay at Carlisle is not convenient with a long month of travelling, but I hope we can pull it off like we did at Stockport years ago.

Three thousand and a few people at the game. Maybe as Scally converts the gate money from Pounds to Dirhams this morning he might actually say, you know Mrs Scally I think someone must be stealing money from us,this looks like there was only 3,000 people at the game, and we both know that can't be true don't we, jeezzz thats like fourth division gate money, and were a THIRD DIVISION TEAM.
