We must WIN this one, and hope teams like Bury and Rochdale lose, once were out of the dam cellar we can climb the table, our next four Division One games could easily net us 7 or 8 points the way we are now playing , home games against Northampton and Bury should net us 6 points, and a tough one sandwiched between those two at Rotherham and then an away game at Walsall where we could pick up a point should be able to see us out of the danger zone .

Even at this early stage you can start calling it an early six pointer. We have a bit of confidence after 4 points from two tough games. We need to take that confidence into tomorrow against Northampton. They come into the game off a good 2-2 draw at Rochdale. The incentive from winning is we would get out of the bottom four with a win.

I think the Space Telescope has got them on the right track, a win tomorrow I am sure will see him get the job full time, he will in my 'umble opinion be the right man for the job. Three points tomorrow MIGHT get us out of the relegation zone, although Rochdale are home to Bristol Rovers ,so they could pick up points there, Oldham are at MK Dons, and Bury are at Sarfend, if they pick up a point were still in the red bit of the table, our GD is pretty bad.

Thought we might have turned a corner but clearly not. Northampton are a very poor side, on this evidence we are still worse.

You BUMS, you useless crocks of s***, and as for you Space Telescope you wouldn't make a pimple on a real managers ass, you useless f****** bunch of losers, best thing you lot can do is all go find a job driving Cabs at the station parking lot,of course you will probably f*** that up as well.
I knew it was to good to be true, I knew getting excited about a win and a draw was all smoke and mirrors, well the Mighty Mighty Gills you have got yourselves into a right ole mess now, even a win and everyone else loosing won't get us out of the crapper.
Seems that this was a pretty equal game between two bad teams with Nthmptn scoring a lucky goal off both posts to take the points ? It's amazing the last few couple of years we have taken points from the good teams and then go down the tube against the bad teams, seems the players think anyone at the bottom of the table is a push over .
What a shame, I to thought we had turned the corner ,maybe next game ?

Yeah they were lucky, lucky to play a team with a keeper whose legs don't belong to the rest of his body. He had so much time to see the free kick he could have read War and Peace before saving it. The other one was just regulation wave it into the net.

I was out so only saw the result, but seems like we had the better of it.Their goals both fortunate going in off the posts.Typical Gills getting 4 points off two top sides, but losing against a side down there with you who you expect to beat.Gutting as we could have got out of the bottom 4,but now are 4 points adrift again.Strong rumours on Twitter that Westley might be named manager next week :-(

Just read Graham Westley's bio, don't quite know what to think of him, he has had success in places like Stevenage, Rushden,Peterborough (why did they fire him) kind of flopped at Newport and Preston, seems everywhere he went he immediately bought in players, can't see him being able to do that at Gillingham with Scallys purse strings solidly knotted ?
I am a bit worried as he appears to upset players quite quickly and they seem to turn on him, almost seems like the playground bully, at the end of the day I really wish The space telescope would be given a chance, at least from now until say Christmas, I honestly think he will do a good job for someone,be it GFC or someone else, maybe at a lower level ?
