Over 104 minutes the game took after a hefty whack on keeper Arnold thanks to a heavy challenge by McGlashan (anyone else thinks he looks really feisty against us but never did FOR us)? Arnold had a very good game and made some good stops, Wilkinson looked difficult to play against and Oldaker in places looked very useful. Simpson, when he came on, looked very composed but I agree with the MOTM, Nugent was very difficult to get past.

As for the crowd (1549) it was higher than some of these trophy matches before the U23 sides were allowed in - so much for a boycott!

Good to get our first win of the season, and good to get a win in the Checkatrade Trophy.Good to see Parker grab a goal.I have seen our winner, and it is a funny own goal! Hopefully we can build on this against Shrewsbury now.
