A very tough game against a decent Reading said.I believe they lost the Championship play off final last season,so we will be up against it.It is the cup,but I do not expect us to repeat the Watford result of last season unfortunately. As long as we put in a good performance, and are tight at the back that will be a good result.

Lol, no we play Reading again in the Football League Trophy match (where there will be more stewards than fans) in November. We were knocked out by Tottenham last season, which shame it wasn't this year as we have a good record at Wembley!

So are we looking at a third share of say a 14,000 gate ?? Does a draw get us a replay or does it go to penalty's ??

Straight to extra time then penalties in the League Cup, straight to penalties in the Trophy and replays in the FA Cup. As for the gate, it was a below par Saturday crowd at the Gills so don't get too excited!

I had to go by the Twitter timeline unfortunately! It looked like we were defensively strong again, but were undone by two very good goals.Eaves had a good chance saved at 0-0.A bit of a worry that we`re not creating many chances at the moment, but hopefully that will change on Saturday against Bradford. No League cup run this year sadly.

Wait till the FA Cup,thats where our run will come, Manchester United away in the fourth round, more money for Scallywag to invest in GFC. Bradford lost to Donny yesterday and beat Blackpool at the weekend, I would love a GREAT 2-0 win on Saturday but I think a 2-2 draw would be a GOOD result. GO GILLS.
