Shrewsbury have won 4 of the last 6 meetings taking their win tally to 23 compared to the Gills' 18 (a further 18 ended in draws).

The Gills are looking for their first win against Shrewbury in 7 attempts (4 defeats). They last won away there in October 1996.

Shrewsbury's win against Chesterfield on Saturday ended a run of 5 defeats and a draw in the league.

Before their win on Saturday, Shrewsbury had managed just 2 wins in 16 home games. They earned 6 on the road over that period.

The Gills are looking for their first clean sheet in 10 league games. Shrewsbury have managed just 1 in 16 home games.

I think Gillingham will line up as follows.......................

------------------------------------Nelson---------------------------------------
---------------Ehmer---------------Pask-----------------Oshilaja-----------------
Osadebe--------------Byrne---------------------Wright-----------------Konchesky
------------------------------------Knott--------------------------------------------
---------------------McDonald-----------------Emmanuel-Thomas-----------------

Subs: Bond (GK), M.Dickenson, Oldaker, Hessenthaler, Dack, Donnelly, List

The only change from Tuesday Night will be Billy Knott given more freedom to join Jay Emmanuel-Thomas and Cody McDonald in attack, as Billy Knott played alongside Josh Wright and Mark Byrne on Tuesday Night to stifle Watford's attack, and new signing Jonathan Bond will be on the bench instead of Tom Hadler.

I will be leaving at 8AM for the trip to Shrewsbury Town, hopefully Gillingham will come back from Greenhous Meadow with at least a point - COME ON THE GILLS!!!!!!!

Big win coming up, the Shrews are going down big time, Gillingham are going to run amuck in Shropshire on Saturday, we beat a big time team on Tuesday so the Shrews will be nothing, a hat full of goals will do nicely thank you Mr.Glasgow.

OK I admit I didn't see the Shrews scoring a brace, and why oh why do we give everyone a two goal lead before we start to get serious. Anyway well done THE BIG BLUE MACHINE , coming back and winning in the last few seconds was good stuff. Who was in goal for us today ? GO GILLS.

I was travelling back home, but saw we were 2-0 down at H/T.Reports say we had a bright spell before they took the lead.Again the come back shows the character and quality in the squad, but we need to stop keep going behind! Emmanuel Thomas has been quiet for a little while, but his quality has been evident again today.A belter of a goal for our equaliser, and a brace for him.I was very happy in the car when we scored the last minute winner! I was surprised Bond started ahead of Nelson, but his save to deny them before we scored was massive.I expect Nelson will be itching to get back in the side,so healthy competition there.

Impossible to understand our performances this season. As the report said we could easily have been four down at half time. Like the result though.
