Nice sunny warm dry day in Gillingham for the BIG ONE, crowd of over 7,000 I hope Glasgow has his team up and ready to go, early goal will kill the Sky Blues off and they will be playing 1st division football next year, while we march on to the play offs.
GO GILLINGHAM, and watch those yellow cards, we don't need to be playing with ten men for half the game, Coventry will be doing anything and everything to try and win this one and keep their slim hopes of a play off place alive, how about a big convincing win you Gills, 1-0 up inside 10 minutes, second goal just before the half, 2-1 on 65 minutes and a third on the 90 minute mark just to round the day off and send every Gills fan home happy. GO GILLS.

TWO POINTS dropped, so lets END THE SEASON TODAY, that way we play Bradford in the first round of the play offs and go to Wembley. Good job no one but Wigan wants to win the title, everyone else dropping points left right and center, that helps us out.
Didn't seem to be the game I expected it to be, seemed like a fairly low key affair with both teams looking not to lose ??

Arguably our worst result of the season, home fixture against a side in decline and the chance to make up ground against rivals with tougher games. No goals, very disappointing.

Very poor game. We created chances far better than Coventry but when we did we couldn't cross or create a chance for toffee! The centre-halves were tremendous, Norris was outstanding in the first 20 minutes but quickly went off the boil and Donnelly was absolutely atrocious! We could easily have lost 2-0 with the bar being hit twice but neither keeper had a save to make. That said, with Walsall losing and Burton surprising drawing at home to Bury it was a point gained but how vital those extra 2 points could have been.

Seventy two hundred people there , which means that Gillingham had to at least increase the gate by about a 1,000 " part time Gills fans ", the playoffs just a few games away , the chance of playing at Wembley just around the corner and Glasgow and Gillingham Football Club serve up this, and everyone on the staff at GFC make a big deal of Walsall loosing, wwooww hhooo were still fourth, were still fourth, Walsall lost,Walsall lost.

I thought it was a poor game, and we lacked any attacking threat today.Defensively we were really solid, and that is another welcoming clean sheet. We did get into a few good areas but seemed hesitant to shoot.Coventry were definitely the better side in the second half, and had it not been for two brilliant Nelson saves tipped onto the bar, they would have won.A point gained with us of it today.

MOTM El-Abd who defended really well.

Wake up guys, this is not a point gained its two lost. We have no chance of overhauling teams above us we should be focused on those below us.

Totally agree but there is nothing we can do about any other team unless were playing them, we don't play Barnsley which surely is the only team that could realistically catch us, both the teams we do play Sheffield and Rochdale I think are a stretch to make the playoffs and if they do I fear it's going to be at GFC expense.
Gillingham have got a tough last seven games, apart from maybe the Shrews I don't see more than 11 points at best coming out of these seven games if yesterdays performance was anything to go on.

Next two...Sheffield Utd and Walsall. Anyone ever used the phrase 'must win games'?

Could not have a tougher end to the season, a possible six points available, and I honestly think if we get 2 or 3, playing like we did on Saturday we will be lucky.
I was looking at the stats for the Coventry game, Jesus we were bad, how could they play with so little fire in their bellies when were so close ?
