[ 6 Apr 24 ] Bradford City v GILLS Match Thread

- The Gills lead the wins over Bradford by 23 wins to 16 and a further 17 meetings have been drawn. The Gills are winless in 4 against Bradford, losing twice at Priestfield 0-2 and drawing twice at Valley Parade.
- The Gills have drawn 3 (including their last 2 visits) and lost 1 of their previous 4 trips to Bradford since their last win there in August 2015. That defeat 3 visits ago in March 2018 is their only loss in 9 visits (2 wins and 6 draws).
- In all competitions, Bradford won 11 out of 19 games between November and February which included a run 6 consecutive wins and just 3 defeats. The 9 matches since have produced just 2 wins and 5 defeats including 4 in a row.
- Bradford's 2-0 home win over Tranmere ended 4 successive league defeats (including 3 at home) during which they conceded 13 goals. They have managed just 3 home league wins in 12 however those wins have come in their previous 7.

(15.21) Oli Hawkins gets a head on the ball and the 'keeper has to stretch to tip it over.

(15.25) Tim Dieng gets a shot on target. It beats the 'keeper but it's cleared off the line.

(15.34) Masterson has a great opportunity to open the scoring but the 'keeper stretches well diving to his left. Anywhere else and he would have been in trouble!

(16.16) Wright's shot from a tight angle inside the box is well saved by Turner.

(16.42) Cook has a shot blocked well by Ogie who clears the follow up which Gills attack from. Walker holds the ball for Andrews who beats his man, twists him inside and out and shoots across goal and just past the post.
