Saturday 27th
Priestfield was the League 2 ground which saw the fewest goals after 41 were scored or conceded by the Gills in their 23 games. Mansfield Town's Field Mill ground saw the most goals at 68 after Mansfield scored 37 home goals and conceded 31.

Sunday 28th
The Gills won promotion from League 2 in the 2008/9 season. Luton have become the third team since then to have risen to the Premier League.
08/09: Brentford
09/10: Bournemouth
17/18: Luton Town (a division also containing Coventry City).

Plymouth enter the Championship after winning the League 1 title this season having been promoted from League 2 in 2019/20.

Monday 29th
There were 85 goals in the 46 League 2 games featuring the Gills, an average of less than 2 goals per game and the fewest in the division. Relegated Hartlepool saw 130 goals, the most in League 2 and fellow relegated Rochdale were 5th. The automatic promoted sides were 15th, 19th and 21st.

Tuesday 30th
The Gills were joint 6th in League 2 for clean sheets keeping 17 in total with 10 of those coming at Priestfield. This was after they managed just 6 in the first half of the season.

Wednesday 31st
The Gills suffered the most blank sheets in League 2 (21) thanks largely to failing to score in 13 of their 23 away games. Just 5 of those 21 blank sheets came in the second half of the season.

Thursday 1st
The Gills 16 first half goals scored was the lowest total in League 2 and they scored just 4 in the first 23 matches of the season. Barrow and Carlisle scored more goals in their first 23 matches than the Gills managed in total.

Friday 2nd
The Gills were joint 7th for fewest goals conceded in League 2. They conceded 21 in total with 14 of them coming in the first half of the season. Harrogate conceded 22 in the first 23 games, contributing to a league-high 41 goals conceded before the break.
