Saturday 6th
L1A-Z: Rotherham are unbeaten in 8 home games, drawing the last 2 after 5 consecutive wins. Before those, they had won 3 and lost 4 of the first 9 home games compared with 6 wins and 2 defeats in their first 9 away games. Utd's last 5 games have seen just 1 win after winning 8 out of 9 home and away before them.

Sunday 7th
L1A-Z: Shrewsbury have won 2 of their last 4 league games but they are their only wins in 14 games. Their 2-0 defeat at Priestfield was the first of 6 losses in their most recent 9 matches.

Monday 8th
L1A-Z: Southend's first 22 games saw them concede at least 3 goals in 14 of them - 17 ended in defeat and only 1 win occurred. They then went 4 unbeaten, securing their second league win after 26 games and another win 2 games later. 6 straight defeats followed until their last match witnessed a 3-1 win over Bristol Rovers - their second home win of the season.

Tuesday 9th
L1A-Z: Sunderland were winless in their last 4 games after 1 defeat in 14 - which culminated in 4 successive wins ending a spell of 8 wins in 10. They have lost both of their last 2 away games, 3 of the last 4 and 7 of the last 12 however they have only lost once at home in the league all season.

Wednesday 10th
L1A-Z: After 5 defeats and a draw away from home, Tranmere have won all 3 of their last 3 away games. At home, they have draw 2 and lost 5 consecutive games of their last 7 played. They have scored 7 goals in their last 3 away games but have failed to score in each of their last 4 games at home (scoring a total of 6 in 12 home games).

Thursday 11th
L1A-Z: Wycombe lost 1 of their first 9 away games, their only league defeat in 20 matches, before losing 5 in a row (with 6 consecutive blank sheets) and 6 out of their last 7 on the road. Both of their home defeats have come in the last 7 games meaning that 12 wins and 1 defeat from the first 20 games turned to 5 wins and 8 defeats from the last 14 games.

Friday 12th
Settling a table on points per game includes all the poor runs from earlier in a season and fails to acknowledge if a current good run might have seen sides climb the table. Based on averaging out the form from the last 5 home and last 5 away games to the end of the season, Peterborough would finish 2nd and the Gills 9 points clear of Ipswich instead of 1 behind! Tranmere would catch AFC Wimbledon with the two sides still having a meeting to play. Wycome's recent form would see them drop from finishing 3rd on points-per-game to 8th and outside the playoffs.
