Saturday 4th
Portsmouth's goal was the 5,600th the Gills had conceded in Football League/EFL matches. It was the first conceded in 254 minutes of league football, the most this season.

Sunday 5th
Match day - Gills v West Ham Utd (FA Cup Round 3)

Monday 6th
Portsmouth ended the Gills run of 7 consecutive home wins; the previous occasion the Gills won 8 in a row was back in September 2015. West Ham ended the Gills run of 8 games unbeaten at home; the previous occasion the Gills went 9 without defeat was back in October 2015.

Tuesday 7th
The Gills are unbeaten when Alex Jakubiak scores in a game. He has 7 goals for the Gills this season and 6 of those goals have come in draws.

Wednesday 8th
Connor Ogilvie has scored 3 goals in 27 games this season having previously managed 1 in 82 for the club. His 3 goals this season have all been the first goal of the game at Priestfield and all resulted in wins with a clean sheet.

Thursday 9th
The Gills last 8 away league games have seen just 1 goal scored in the first halves. Those 8 matches resulted in 1 win, 5 draws and just 2 defeat.

Friday 10th
Here's interesting look at goals scored and conceded in League 1 both in total and over the last 6 games. League top-scorers Peterborough have plummeted from 1.83 goals per game to 0.67 over their last 6 league games, their 4 goals being just 9.1% of their total scored. League lowest scorers Bolton are up to 7th with 1.50 goals per game - their 9 goals in 6 games is half their entire league total.

With 1.67 goals conceded in each of the last 6 games compared to their league total of 0.96, Ipswich have conceded 45.5% of their goals in those 6 matches. Wycombe still lead the way but have conceded 0.41 more goals per game in the last 6. Gills and Ipswich (0.50) concede the fewest, the Gills letting in just 12.5% of their goals in the last 6.
