Saturday 30th
The Gills enter December facing a poor recent festive record. In the third tier of English football, the Gills have won 42 and lost 31 of their December home league & cup games but won 67 and lost 20 of those played in November. The last 7 Decembers have seen 5 wins (26.3%) whilst the previous 7 Novembers saw 13 wins (50.0%).

Sunday 1st
Match day - GILLS v Doncaster (FA Cup Round 2)

Monday 2nd
The Gills have gone 4 home league and cup games without conceding a goal. It has been over 10 years since the Gills last kept 4 consecutive home clean sheets, last occurring back on the 28th November 2009.

Tuesday 3rd
The Gills have taken more shots on target and had more shots in total in each of their last 6 matches. Those 6 games have seen a total 74 shots taken and 37 faced.

Wednesday 4th
Jack Tucker and Connor Ogilvie have 5 clean sheets out of the Gills last 8 games (Tucker from only 7 games played) after the Gills took 29 matches to secure the previous 5 clean sheets.

Thursday 5th
In Olly Lee's last 5 appearances, the Gills have scored 6 goals. Lee has either scored or assisted 4 of those 6 goals.

Friday 6th
After 8 shots were off target or blocked in Tom O'Connor's Gills' career up to this weekend, he managed 5 in the Doncaster FA Cup match alone - the most in a single Gills game this season.

Not counting FA Cup games we have 7 games leading up to the first weekend of January, three of those must be wins, MKDons, Rochdale and Sarfend , I have a gut feeling that the other four, Sunderland, Fleetwood , Ipswich and Portsmouth might prove a bit more difficult to get a point or two from.
If we can come away from the Southend game with 31 or 32 points on the scoreboard we should not have to worry too much about the relegation zone, I just don't want to see 1 win, 3 draws and 3 loses from these 7 games, thats's got to be a BIG NO NO..
