Sunday 6th
Mikael Ndjoli faced the Gills 80th and 81st penalties over the past 10 seasons. His misses were the 23rd and 24th out of those 81. Here's how the penalty-taking table looks over those 10 seasons (excludes penalty shoot-outs).

Monday 7th
The Gills managed 3 shots on target in the opening 7 minutes of the Southend game after managing 3 in total from the previous 2 games combined - the 9 in total was only 1 fewer than the 10 against Bolton. 5 games this season have seen the Gills take 3 shots on target or fewer in the match.

Tuesday 8th
Match day - GILLS v Ipswich Town (Football League Trophy)

Wednesday 9th
Mikael Ndjoli missed two penalties in the Southend game. The last time the Gills won 2 penalties in a match was in December 2017 (Bristol Rovers) and both of those were missed too (Mark Byrne).

Thursday 10th
The Gills have scored first in 8 of the 14 games this season and scored the second goal in 7 out of 12 games. However the third goal has been scored in only 2 out 9 games whilst the fourth goal has been scored in 2 out of 7 games. The Gills have scored the fifth goal in both games it occurred in.

Friday 11th
Mikael Mandron's own goal against Ipswich was only the second scored by the Gills over the past 4 seasons, the last coming back in November 2016. 5 have gone our way over the same period.
