Saturday 31st
Match day - GILLS v Bolton

Sunday 1st
The Gills win against Bolton meant they finally won a game in August, matching the single win in 2017/18. They had won at least 2 games in August in 4 of the previous 5 seasons.

Monday 2nd
The Gills scored 5 in a home game for the first time since May 2018 (5-2 vs Plymouth) however their last 5-0 win at home was also in August, just over 10 years ago.
