The Gills' 4-0 win against Bradford was their first win by 4+ goals since beating Fleetwood 5-1 back in September 2015. It was also their 58th home 4-0 win and their first since August 2015.

Monday 29th
After 18 games of the season, Tom Eaves has played in 17 of them and scored 9 goals. After 18 games last season he had played in 12 games and scored 5 goals. His first 9 goals of the season in 2017/18 came in his first 27 Gills games.

Tuesday 30th
Bradford let in the first goal most often in League 1 and have lost all 11 of their 16 league games when conceding first. Their 4-0 loss at the Gills was only the 2nd time the Gills had opened at home.

Wednesday 31st
The Gills' 16 shots off target managed against Bradford was the most in 262 games since 18 (Brackley defeat) were achieved. The 23 shots in total were the most in 182 games since 22 occurred in a defeat by Coventry.

Thursday 1st
The Gills 4 second half goals scored against Bradford was the most scored in the half since beating Scunthorpe 4-0 in November 2012 (FA Cup).

Friday 2nd
The Gills haven't scored more than 4 home goals without reply this season and their 4 against Bradford ended a run that saw the opposition score 9 consecutive goals in Gills home games. The Gills have now scored 5 in a row beating the season best of 3.
