Saturday 19th
The Gills 5 home wins was the fewest ever in a Football League campaign (only 1 season saw fewer but only 9 games were played) and the 11 draws was the most ever. It meant the Gills took 38% of the points, the fewest since the 1988/9 season.

Sunday 20th
The Gills took 43% of the points available in their away league games. Only 11 other Football League seasons saw a greater percentage of points taken - 6 of them in non-promotion seasons.

Monday 21st
The Gills secured more of the points available away from then they did at home, the last time that happened was the 2012/13 promotion season. Along with the very first season, they are the only 3 seasons in the club's history where the away campaign was more successful.

Tuesday 22nd
The Gills only shot towards the Rainham End in the first halves of games on 2 occasions this season - both games were lost and no goals were scored there.

Wednesday 23rd
The most amount of consecutive goals scored by the Gills without reply in all games this season was 4. 4 was also the most at home and also 4 away.

Thursday 24th
The Gills took 16 points from the sides that finished in the top 6 but only managed 13 points against the 6 sides that finished in the bottom 6.

Friday 25th
7 of Josh Parker's 12 goals were the opening goals of the game but only 2 of Tom Eaves' 18 this season was the first goal.

Saturday 26th
Conor Wilkinson played the most substitute minutes this season (461). The Gills scored 10 goals during that time, averaging a goal every 46.1 mins compared to a goal every 74.8 for the season.

That was the last Fact of the Day for the summer. It continues on twitter (follow at @Gills_Stats) with a full season round-up. Fact of the day returns just before the new season starts.
