Saturday 31st
The MK Dons defeat was the Gills' first back-to-back league defeat since 8th October. It was the 4th occasion back-to-back league defeats had occurred this season and non of the previous had seen 3 lost in a row.

Sunday 1st
The Gills have failed to score in the first halves of 15 of the 18 home games so far. The goal against MK Dons was only the 4th whilst 2 came in the Bristol Rovers match (the only game in which the Gills had led at half time this season in a home league match).

Monday 2nd
Match day

Tuesday 3rd
The Gills conceded 3 goals in the first 18 minutes at Southend. In the previous 23 away games, the Gills had only conceded a further 4 in all those games combined.

Wednesday 4th
The Southend defeat was the first time under Lovell that the Gills had lost 3 league games in a row and also the first time this season. 3 league defeats last occurred in March 2017.

Thursday 5th
The Gills have let in 8 first half goals in their last 5 away games. The other 19 away games (league and cup) saw a combined total of 9 first half goals conceded.

Friday 6th
The Gills had 10 goals ruled out in the 46 games played before Southend but had 2 in the United match alone. Tom Eaves has had 6 of the 12 chalked off whilst the opposition have had just 2.
