The Gills have led each of the last 3 games only to eventually lose 2-1, conceding the winning goals in the 88th, 89th and 90th minutes.

The opposition have come from behind to win 5 of the last 11 games. It took 83 games to see them overturn the previous 5 deficits.

Thursday 20th
Josh Wright has scored 3 goals this season. All 3 were away from home, the first goal of the game and all in a 2-1 defeat.

Friday 21st
After the first 8 games the Gills had scored 13 second half goals and let 5 but in the last 11 the total scored is just 5 and we let in 16.

That Monday fact is actually quite spooky when you think about it. Same result and exactly the same scenario almost down to the exact minute. Put that in a book and see how many people shout 'too far fetched!'

And almost happened for a 4th in a row the day after!

Odd how the same thing keeps happening. Yesterday I didn't see Gills dropping off at all and it didn't seem any more likely that Charlton would score than Gills would. But once again we concede in the last minute. Very strange.

It's getting to the point where you know it's coming. You almost expect to see a clean sheet with seconds left when a UFO drifts over just as Nelson kicks a long ball up field and it deflects in off!
