Saturday 28th
Match day - GILLS v Barrow AFC (EFL Sky Bet League 2)

Sunday 29th
The Gills win over Barrow extended their unbeaten run to 15 home league games without defeat - matching a run last set back in March 1999 as part of a 17 game home league run without defeat. The 4 league wins in a row last occurred in April 2023.

Monday 30th
The Gills have scored 12 goals and conceded just 2 in their opening 8 league matches this season. In the Gills record-breaking season of 1995/6 (in which they conceded 20 goals all season), they had scored 12 and conceded 3 after 8 league games.

Tuesday 1st
Match day - GILLS v Grimsby Town (EFL Sky Bet League 2)

Wednesday 2nd
The Barrow game saw the Gills score in their 9th league game out of their last 11 and they had kept 7 clean sheets in those 11 league games. The Gills' first 20 league games last season produced the first 7 league clean sheets.

Thursday 3rd
Despite losing 3 of their last 5 games at Priestfield in the league and cup, the Grimsby defeat was the Gills' first home loss in the league since Boxing Day - a run comprising 15 home League 2 games without defeat.It was their best home run since April 1999.

Friday 4th
Before Grimsby, the Gills' 11 league and cup games had produced 6 wins and 5 defeats compared with last season's 8 wins 3 defeats. At that stage, both seasons saw them top of the table with 6 league wins and 2 defeats (the Gills have drawn an extra game played this season).
