UM, UM ,UM, you do know that the Gills are not actually playing this game don't you ? Poor old garawa, locked up with his 7 kids and a nympho wife, probably by now just a shadow of his former self.

I think he's got OCD poor fellow, he can't help himself. He's like one of those Chinese wind up dolls, set him in motion and he can't stop.

Ok I am in total agreement, with you, were doing so well, that 2-2 draw against Sunderland was just what " Doctor Promotion Ordered ", then beating Fleetwood at home 1-0 followed up by two great away wins ,2-1 at MK Dons, and then the most exciting game so far this season which saw Gillingham win at Rotherham taking a thriller 4-3 with the winning goal coming in the 2nd minute of overtime.
That goal unfortunately started a pitch invasion of the 47 delirious Gillingham fans and took almost 24 seconds to clear before the game could be re-started and the final 10 seconds played out. The invasion appears to have been led by someone who the police arrested and later charged under the name of Fanny " The Coke " Mulligan, who looked as if he was going to have to spend the night in jail , not having the 78 quid bail money after seemingly finding a shop by Gullivers Land Theme Park on the A508 which sold cans of coke for a pound, and he filled the trunk of his girlfriends car up with said cokes hence he was out of money.
Fortunately for Mulligan one Mr. Lidbit, who arrived late for the game after driving up from Kent saw Mulligan being loaded into the Paddy Wagon and followed it to the police station enabling "The Coke" to get out of jail with just a date for a return trip to Milton Keynes to see a Judge, and a signature from Mr. Lidbit.
Asked by your intrepid roving reporter Scoop Stevens why he had arrived late for the game Mr Lidbit mumbled something about "Fog" and "Heavy Metal Music" and said the traffic had been bad on the A40 on the way into Abergavenny, and then when they were back in England a truck had jackknifed on the outskirts of Stockport.
The Gills third win in a row started a chain reaction at the top of the table , which saw automatic placed Rotherham tumble out of the top two and saw Gillingham climb from 8th to 5th and a spot in the playoffs, replacing Peterborough who lost there second in a row and tumbled into 7th place.
This is Scoop Stevens your Rooooovvvvvvviiiiiinnnnggggg Reporter signing off , only to climb on his bike and head towards Gillingham to see the Home Game against Accrington Stanley, a game to be played before a sell out crowd of 10,999 ,it would have been 11,000, but Fanny "The Coke" Mulligan has been banned from all Gillingham's games until the result from his court hearing is known .

Have you had a checkup lately Gillsfan, a brain scan possibly? There's definitely something different in there.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha, sometimes the simple responses to Gillsfan's imagination is the funniest bit. The weird thing however is that I could actually "see" all of that happening as I was reading!

Scoop Stevens here, I don't need no check up, I have not had a drink for months and I don't fall over more than twice a day, I think it's something to do with the floaters that keep going across my eyes. SSSHHH look, look, there's one that looks like a map of New Zealand, well the South Island anyway.
One pissy trip on the QE 2 and now he thinks he is a sycologist, he will probably say he sat at the Captain's Table , and he did, as the ship was docking and everyone else including the Captain was on the upper deck waving there Corona carrying fingers at the waiting crowds on the dockside.

Another win and three more points today for a Gillingham team who are now well and truly encamped in third place in the First Division, just two point outside of an automatic promotion spot thanks to an easy 2-0 win against an Accrington Stanley , a side who seems to have taken there foot off the gas now that the bottom three have already been decided (or is it two this year with Bury going out of the league) ?
The game played before a full house at Priestfield Stadium on a beautiful 60 degree Spring Day proved once and for all what the smart, intelligent , Gillingham supporters always believed, that Steve Evans the Gillingham Manager was the man to lead the Gills to the promised land, and has he got this team playing well enough to take an automatic spot next Friday when they play a Coventry side who have been in free fall since the middle of March.
A penalty converted by the man who was fouled Lee, gave the Gills an well deserved half time lead and a simple tap in goal a few minutes after the restart by Charles -Cook gave the manager enough time to substitute three players in the 70th 75th and 80th minutes, and bring on the fans favorites , keeper Ron Hillyard, prolific goal scorer Brian Yeo, and although the leg shackles hindered his strait line running Marlon King did make some quick darting runs from the wing towards the locker room every time the ref blew his whistle.
I must admit and I said this to the lovely lady sitting next to me that's a strange sounding whistle, sounds like something from that old Police show, Dixon of Dock Green, but she didn't seem to be amused , said how old do you think I am , and turned her back to me . It didn't prove to be the best day for the poor woman, as the teams came back on the pitch after half time, her husband jumped up and ran towards the Gills dug out throwing rose petals at Steve Evans feet and was escorted out of the ground and into a police car for a trip to Gillingham police Station.
I said to the poor distressed woman was that you husband, and she said yes,and to think this time last week he was in Milton Keynes bailing out a Gillingham supporter who had started a riot there, now I am going to have to bail him out, what is happening to our supporters, there going crazy.
After the game I said can I give you a lift to the police station and she was very grateful for the offer, I can only assume she thought I had a car, although to be honest I would have thought the bike clips on me trousers would have led her to believe otherwise.
I thought Gillingham Police Station was still around the corner from the railway station in West Street but it has moved down to near the Gillingham Dockyard Gate, and the dear lady seemed OK sitting on my all aluminum retractable rear bike rack, well at least for the first mile, but that all changed when we got to the top of the hill on Church Street overlooking the River Medway .
I can tell you for nothing that your Roving Reporter Scoop Stevens does not appreciate his hair being pulled like that, how I was supposed to see looking at the sky I have no idea, and that screaming in my ear was very unnecessary, lot of fuss for nothing in my opinion, the Strand looks nice at this time of year and if the drop from the promenade to the beach had not stopped us it would not have mattered, the tide was out anyway.
She might have looked very pretty but I feel sorry for her husband, jjjeezzz what a temper, didn't even hang around long enough to help me straighten out my wonky front wheel, and to throw stones at me as she stormed away seemed a wee bit unnecessary, hell it wasn't me that got locked up for expressing my love and thanks to Steve Evans.
Anyway as soon as this wheel has been beaten back into shape your Intrepid Roving Reporter Scoop Stevens will once again be heading north for Fridays game against a Sky Blue team who are in free fall after a wonderful start to the season , (where the hell do they play now days) looking forward to another three points and with only four to go after Coventry a place in the play offs if not an auto finish seems certain.

At the Half Coventry 1-0 , Gillingham. Both team's seem to be looking tired as the end of the season approaches. Coventry scored in the 32 minute a breakaway by Matt Godden and very poor defending by the Gillingham back four allowed him to score a simple tap in goal after dragging reserve keeper Royce off his goal line to the edge of the box , rounding the keeper and scoring.
Gillingham have been frustrated by a Coventry side relying on 7 men in the box for most of the first half, which has allowed a weary looking Gillingham side to get have 70 % of the play , but have yet been unable to find a way through for a goal.
Second half about to start.
